- Glossy Panne with a Pressed Pile
- Burnout Velvet, also known as Devore, wherein the pile is is solved in patterns, which leaves an etched-out design on a sheer background.
- Embossed Velvet, on which a rubber stamp like roller applies heat and makes a pattern
